Computer Monitoring
Services
Either regular (point-in-time) monitoring or continuous monitoring of any or all of your computers can be arranged.
Regular monitoring is usually billed by the hour for whatever time is required to bring all of the computers in the office up to a current status. Two written reports will be prepared for each computer consisting of an abbreviated executive summary and a detailed report. All of the information in the executive summary is included in the detailed report. This process requires approximately four hours to complete but because there are long periods of time where the computer is running unattended it is possible to overlap multiple computers so that three or four computers can usually be processed in that four hour window. For this reason we do not recommend this service unless you have at least three and preferably more computers that can be worked on simultaneously.
Continuous monitoring can be set up for any number of computers and will cost less per computer as the number of computers in the office increase. It requires you to have a stable Internet connection with the capacity to upload the required data to our servers. A slow connection, such as a satellite or minimal DSL connection may require modifications to the default settings. The frequency of reports will depend on the amount of data collected but will generally be produced on a daily basis.
